Course Overview

Learning and using user centred interaction design techniques to create the (information) structure of an interactive digital concept.

What

To design the (information) structure of an interactive digital application a UX designer uses a wide range of techniques. These design techniques help to define relevant requirements with the intend to create a user-friendly application that fulfills user needs.

Use when

This course provides you with a "tool box" of techniques that is generally applicable on a diverse range of interaction design processes.

Why

You will learn to translate user needs in to system requirements and design an information structure that fits these requirements and facilitates a fluent user - system interaction.

How

This course consists of eight weeks in which you work on assignments in small groups (2-3 students).

You will deliver a design report which shows an overview of all assignments and a clickable prototype of your final design solution.

Tools

Prototyping tools, pen and paper.
